I've had quotes $2800 to $3900 but I am in north QLD.

$7K quote and I would not buy the car to be honest, for me anyway.

Guess you are in Sydney?

so i get alot of speeding fines, but have rating 1, no claims ever. got a M3 comp xdrive with some upgrades on order for $210k.

AAMI was at $5500.00 (current PFV through them is $1200, been with them for 10 years)
Shannons was $4000.00
my insurance broker for business said it would be around $2500.00 through him.

I paid around $5,500 for full comp insurance on a G80 xDrive, just paid $119 for a weekly tank of fuel too. These cars ain't cheap in Aus.

My car is only 3 weeks away now so will get updated quotes. Hoping for under 3K, not with BMW though.

The cheapest quote I found online for my M3C X drive is $3K with Allianz with $2100 excess including no excess on windscreen damage. Agreed value is at $175K for an invoice value of $203K.

Car is being picked up in under two weeks so updated the insurance quote.

WOW.

$1892.61 per annum. $206K agreed value including one windscreen per annum, mix of Business and Private use.

Only catch was $3050 excess which I do not mind.

Seriously blown away, was preparing for $2500.

I'm not familiar with agreed value insurance. Why is the agreed value of the car so high?

The agreed value was the total price of the car including extras.

Can you share at what company you have insured your car? The prices are extremely high. Last year I bought a BMW X7 2020, and I thought that I would pay a lot of money for the insurance. I have got the insurance contract from Youi, and I am pleased by their services. They have created an individual contract for me based on my driving habits, which is new for me. I have never got in an accident, and I hope I will never get, but I am sure that I will have no problems with claiming the money from insurance in this company
