Additional service coverage for $700?
Hey guys,
'21 G80 here. I was informed there is a $700 service package option at time of purchase that covers general repair AND wear items such as tires, clutch etc. Can anyone speak to this? I for some reason cannot find it offered anywhere.... |

It was more like $1000 for the tire package or $2k for rims and tires. That other option you mention was for clutch and diff etc but did not include tires I declined them all I'm not sure if you can add them after the purchase? |

This is the kind of question that you really should ask your dealer.
I doubt that a $700 package is going to cover much.

https://bmwusaservice.com/ultimateca...hoCOMwQAvD_BwE It's recently been added to the Configurator as an option so you can see the price addition there and what's included above. You should probably ask your CA for clarifications as it's all a bit confusing to me. As I understand it, for the first 3 years oil changes and other factory scheduled maintenance as noted in the service interval are covered already in the standard "Ultimate Care." So I don't know what the point of the additional $199 oil change service is. Ultimate Care+ then adds additional years to those first 3, and I guess also wiper blades, brake pads, and transmission fluid? None of it is totally clear based just on the website descriptions. |

I bought it mainly because it covers rotors....and they discounted it! I also bought the tire and wheel protection for 5 years as I have had some interesting luck with those things.
The good news is if my current record of keeping cars continues I will get most of it back if my mind starts wandering again. My last car lasted 5 months. |
