I think the service advisors say it to make you feel special. Mine did. I chuckled.

Many people have confirmed that there is no power gain after break-in service.

All you guys are feeling is FRESH OIL and you driving it harder in ways you didn't before. There is no power increase period.

There is no power gain after the service . Most of you drive them like a grandpa. I also think that the brain also have break in service . From there the power is unlocked 😄.

What would be the worst-case scenario if differential drain plug didn't get changed?

It might leak. That's all. It's more of a precautionary thing.

Felt slower for me after the break-in service. Well, not really slower, but I thought the extra throttle and rpms would yield more. Compared to previous car I shouldn't be surprised given power/weight, but you guys that think the break-in service unlocks any power need to get your head checked.
