Rookie question since I've only ever done coilovers: how difficult is it to swap these springs back to stock (for the purposes of returning a lease)

Full set of CO are plug and play, since your not dealing with taking out the springs. However with HAS kit or springs like these will require special tool to remove from the strut. If your into DYI I would buy a set of good compression tool.

The springs will fit the M4 damper however the drop may differ due to the difference in chassis.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. If the drop is equal or more, I'm in. If the drop is less, I'm out

Are these for the M4 as well? If so, would the drop be more or less than on the m3?

Yes, the springs work for both cars, but the drop may be different.

The amount of drop is what I'm trying to figure out before I buy them. I don't want to get them and it be less than the m3. What determines the amount of drop, the weight of the car?

I would think distribution. I believe they are testing their M4 now.

lol wtf. You think the guys who make and sell the springs will give you an honest response?
Why assume they'd lie? ....and what's comfortable is rather subjective anyway.

Would you need lower control arms or anything else to bring the car back to alignment specs?
