Garage List
American Wrap Co in Thousand Oaks quoted $650 for front bumper/headlights. $900 for front bumper, headlights, mirrors, partial hood and fenders. $1800 for entire front-end front bumper, headlights, mirrors, fenders and hood. $5k for a full PPF on every painted surface of the vehicle. $500 for windshield PPF. However these quotes were about 8 months ago. At the time of my research they were the best in Los Angeles with the most positive reviews as well as trophy’s from industry events using the highest quality xpel products. Once I get my car I’m planning to take it to them. I’ve linked their IG and a video that really sold me on their YouTube page if you really want to take care of your vehicle paint for the long term. Just looking at their Google and Yelp reviews will seal the deal.

Cool this is helpful. Would a wrap also protect the car?

Anyone used VIP Recon? I'll be (hopefully) picking up my M3 from Valencia in a couple of months and don't really know the area.

I promise you 10k isn't even close to the market costs. 6k isn't it either. Find a shop that'll do it right and for the right price. I'd also recommend only doing front clip ppf. ROI drops off after Front clip
Where did you get your front bumper and hood done for $900?

Following this tread. I own Genesis Detailing in SD, we just did an 2022 M3 and we are working on a 2022 m4 right now. Both received full front ppf and a coating. I am reading 10k and 14k which are both ridiculously priced. If you need any help or suggestions let me know. Give us a call and I'll be happy to help and or get the job done for you!

The $14k was a misreading of my response to the OP. I listed two prices, one for clear and one for stealth. Someone added them together at some point. Nobody is charging $14k for PPF.

gotcha! I was going to say, thats insane pricing but that also would not surprise me at all. Some shops are ridiculous.

Nice, that's where I'll be going (if my car EVER gets here) and doing the exact same thing.

I can 100% recommend American Wrap! They recently fully wrapped my GT3RS and it looks incredible. Very nice and easy to work with.

Where did you go for your PPF ? Most of the places I am calling for bumper, hood, front fenders are quoting around $2500

What transparency percentrage did you go front and rear?

Dropping mine off at Rapid Winting Tinting in LA tomorrow, full body XPEL Stealth (paint is frozen white) for $5500. Most other shops I called were between 6-8k. Will post pictures when I get it back.

Sticker City in Sherman Oaks does amazing work. I got full body PPF, ceramic coat (including wheels and calipers) and skid plate installed for my G80 and the results were exemplary. They were also able to honor the price they quoted me last year ($7225 inclusive of tax) which was laudable given the year over year price increase of PPF film.
