Every year that you take it back for the annual maintenance it looks as good as the day you first got it done minus any road chips.

I have the Gold on my F82. I wish I had at least got frontal PPF because the ceramic coating doesn't do well against road chips.

Other than that I actually look forward to the annual maintenance after about 6 months LOL.

Ceramic coating is only like a really long-lasting wax treatment. Anything wax can't protect against, ceramic is likely to not either. Stone chips? Nope. Scratches? Nope. Swirl marks? Nope.

Went full body PPF after seeing the difference over a few years between the ceramic only panels vs. PPF+ceramic panels in my older cars. The PPF panel looked new. Ceramic was glossy but you could see the light clear coat halos in the right light. And the odd fine scratch here and there.

You're basically echoing what I said, and I agree. My comment was directly related to the OP's (possibly rhetorical) question of "Will it ever look this good again?". With Ceramic Pro Gold, once a year... it will

When my G82 arrives (if it ever arrives - stuck in QC for over two months now) I will be getting full PPF with ceramic as you mentioned. My #1 reason for PPF are the chips and scratches that I have on my F82 that the ceramic didn't protect against (#2 is I'm going stealth). My #1 reason for the ceramic on top of PPF is for ease of maintenance. I want that same ease of cleaning that I have with my F82 for my G82.

I learned how to maintain my car from my Ceramic Pro installer. I can tell you, it's MUCH easier to maintain with a ceramic coating than it is without.

It is. Much easier. I detail a little on the side. I have a few thousand dollars in polishers and pads. It's a lot of work. But it's so much easier when the cars are coated. I had full PPF and Feynlabs ceramic done on mine, or I would have done it, myself. The detailers have access to ceramic coating I can't get as a hobby installer, so, I wanted the good, self healing stuff. But I definitely get down with some detailing.

Thanks I am due to go back in two weeks for its first clean, not that its going to be that dirty as I suspect its going to just sit in the garage unless we get some proper dry days.

With proper maintenance it will look just as good or better than the day you brought it home.
