Car landed in Charleston on 6/19 , since then the tracker has gone back in forth from in transit to at port. The car eventually will go to PCD so idk where they will hold the car until my date in July. Getting closer !

Not sure if this helped but I kept bothering my CA to find out why my car wasn't getting shipped and he e-mailed BMW corporate about it.

I wasn't able to lock in a date until the car was on a ship. And the dates are a bit delayed. For me basically a month between landing in the US and delivery date.

I've done a few things but unfortunately had zero answers. BMW "genius" opened a case investigation, and my CA contacted the regional manager but nobody is able to explain the delay. Thank you Ill bring up emailing bmw corporate can't hurt at this point

so now that my order for individual is in my build status moved from 112 (original order) back to 102 (Special order) and online my garage tracker is stating

"Your order has been received, and we're making space in the production schedule."

I know it can take time. just wondering does anyone know if this is something that is going to take days or weeks to find me a space in the prod schedule? Im getting sad when I check the status online daily. (its only been a week but I'm impatient)

Wouldn't this all be a part of the 4 week added production time for individual colors? My assumption was that a lot of that added time was more so just getting it slotted into a date to join the assembly line queue since they are taken out of it to paint and then slotted back in. Probably needs to be timed just right to maintain the most efficient process.

I guess that makes sense. I just assumed it would sit at 112 or quickly move to there then wait until 150. I dunno this is my first time doing individual. more curious than "freaking out".

It would be nice to have some sort of "estimated" time you will wait in the queue.... kind of like when you are on hold waiting to talk to a Helpdesk person.

something like. "your car is in status 102 and you average wait time to get to 150 is... 'N' weeks. thanks for calling.

I hear ya, I'm in the same boat. Actually I'm a bit behind you even as I've got the order submitted but still waiting for the individual color to fully go in and the tracker to update from Alpine White to Special Color. After that I'm sure I'll get kicked right back to 102 status as well.

For anyone who has an xdrive on order, does your online tracker show the all black 826m wheels listed under options? Mine shows nothing under my options but the render shows the car with black rims. My order sheet from the dealer shows code ZWH indicating the correct rims. Any clarification would be appreciated.

I did the bi color 826M and I believe they are correct on the tracker. Will check later to verify.

Hmm, strange. Mine just shows "AG Standard Wheel and Tire", but nothing more. Really hoping the black rims are actually spec'd!

Do not worry, you have got the right wheels. Mine look the same as you as, and I confirm that ZWH is the code for black wheels.

Under Standard Features: it should read

AG Standard Wheel and Tire = 826M BLACK wheels

Well I'm pissed! My car entered production today and the dealership never got the default color choice switched to my individual color.

Looks like I'll now be back waiting for another allocation again.

I called the genius line yesterday and they told me I wasn't even scheduled for production until the week of July 11th. So much for that!
