I was a going to make a "cold start" video but the belts decided to steal the show every time. Anyone else having this issue? The noise goes away after a minute.

Definitely not normal sounding. You should take it in.

Definitely doesn't sound right.

Here's what I'm thinking.

Brooklyn Grey Metallic + Fiona Red/Black Interior. (The Bold Option)

-OR-

Black Sapphire Metallic + Silverstone/Black Interior (The Stealth/Stylish Option)

2 questions.

1. Does the Fiona Red interior match the color of the red brake calipers?
2. Does anyone have any pics of the Silverstone/Black Interior?
Brooklyn Grey and Fiona Red looks great. My wife just got that combo on an X3 M40i.

The calipers don't have the same red but they're not exactly adjacent to each other

On previous BMW Navigation systems there was a countdown bar/meter that showed up when you were coming up to a turning/junction, I can’t see this on my G80 M3 Nav , is it no longer available or can it be turned on in settings ?

I am guilty for not looking through the manual as I hate them. I figure the system itself is cumbersome but after a couple weeks, you learn the nuance. However, there’s several things I’m still questioning.

The M1, M2 buttons. I set them for specific drivings. How do I know if the settings are loaded. The reason I ask, I have M1 load for RWD wheel drive and sport everything. However when I hit setup. None of those settings seems to be applied. Everything is still on comfort? So which setting an I really driving in?

Question 2 - If I go into manual mode ON THE PADDLES and I want to do a 60-130 roll. If I down shift with paddles to 2nd gear and i let it rip from 40, will the car up shift on its own or will i bounce off the limiter?

I have a lot of more questions, I’ll start off with those 2 lol.

My Hellcat got 13 miles to the gallon on average and I drove the hell out of that car.

M1 or M2 will show in the dash. You can also hit the settings button next to the shifter to see the current settings. If you have any of them configured with a setting that turns off the nannies (e.g. MDM, and I believe RWD on the Xdrive) then you have to hit the M button twice, second time to confirm. I assume this is to avoid accidentally hitting it and not realizing it and being caught without said nannies.

On a side note, manuals are fun to read for me. I look for easter eggs ;-). Yes I read mine cover to cover.
