M4 CSL - Must be crazy.. He did what...Installed CSF "Level Up" Manifold

OMG he must be crazy
BMW M4 CSL installed CSF "Level Up" Manifold

What about the nostalgia of the car - What about.. What about....

What about installing high end parts on a high end car that will improve the cars overall performance & appearance plus make the owner extremely happy.

I love to build cars & make them unique to my liking.

CSF "Level Up" Manifold installed yesterday and I absolutely love it

I was intimidated by this Manifold/Modification I won't lie.
I have installed a handful of CSF Top mount coolers on my S55 M2C.

This install scared me - Seemed like a lot needed to happen.
I watched a bunch of online videos
Read forums/stories on the install.
I was almost ready to back out....Chicken out!!

Then I read CSF's Launch release on the Level Up Manifold
Lots of great info on the R&D process etc

I researched PWR who teamed up with CSF for this manifold
PWR are epic - The kings if you're not aware
They do all F1 | Nascar etc cooling parts - Pure Quality

I started to get excited again.
I spoke to the best local shop in town about the manifold.
This Shop (RMP Motors) has their own race team/race cars
Owner/Operator business totally into the details & they were pumped for this install - Additional airflow & cooling will help the car perform better even if you choose to run stock injectors etc.

The Shop completed the install yesterday
They took their time - not a rush but to put things in perspective they started at 7:30am and by 11:45am it was finished.
They also completed an oil change in the process.

The End result is epic!!
Looks amazing & the car feels great.
On every build I've done - Engine bays have always been a top focus.

My first car was a 1971 Cutlass with a built 383 Stroker motor pushing 600HP/650TQ - I appreciate engines & engine bays.

Will I track the CSL = NO - Not hard at least
Will I Race the CSL = NO
I will drive the car | I will enjoy spirted drives & longer distance drives I will enjoy opening the hood in my garage and at car shows.
I love the way this car/engine bay has turned out!

Started with 13KM in May | 5700KM currently.

i think it is not really possible to make more power on the stock tune, it's all load-based. If the manifold reduces IATs or flows more air i believe it will result in the same power and the turbos working a little less to get there.

of course could be wrong, will be interesting to see the result.

Same - I am not to sure.

I'm interested to see what the car does -
Right now it feels absolutely incredible to drive which is my main enjoyment.

Seeing some actual numbers will be nice
Seeing it under the hood is just incredible and that's the majority of my enjoyment

What will most likely happen is you will make more power down low but max power will remain the same. In other words the power curve will be differ low down which is why the car will feel better in particular if you’re mainly doing street/spirited pulls.

It looks really nice I'm just not convinced it's going to help power at all. To establish that you'd need a before/after dyno with logs showing similar boost and timing so we knew it was an apples to apples comparison.

Thank you!!

I love the way it looks.
I love the fact that its all one pc vs the OEM unit being 2pc and causing possible failure down the road.

As far as boost/timing/power - that is all secondary for my personal build. I do not plan to put the car on the race track... Just some nice weekend drives (spirited at times etc)

So you aren’t going to drive the car hard enough to need the extra cooling, did you just feel like lighting 8-9k on fire or what? Seems pretty pointless.
