My chinese air inlets came in today. They look pretty decent. Will let you know about fitment.

They appear to be hydro-dipped CF. Looks real though and when its at foot-level on the car no shot anyone can tell. Lol

I'd be pretty angry if I spent any amount of money on hydro dipped carbon fiber. Are you sure it's not the real deal?

Yes. I was JUST at the dealership and saw the OEM installed on a BG and it also had the seams.

Yep, the OEM M Perf front lip comes in 4 separate pieces and as stated above, has the seems for where the two pieces on the side meet the middle piece.

So far seems promising. They told me they would send me another center piece (the part that got broken). I havent gotten a tracking number yet but I am hopeful.

UPDATE:

These are NOT hydro-dipped. They are in fact real CF.

The fitment is 85/90% perfect. Not exact, but totally unnoticeable unless you lay down and examine it super close.

Totally happy with the outcome considering OEM is $2.5-3K and these were $700. These can be had for even lower ($400, I think) if you order direct from alibaba. Will get some pics posted in this thread asap.

But if you search there are some listed, I think they all pretty much the same... note if you want to take a chance with Alibaba or AliExpress, they are over $200 cheaper and probably from the same source... I bought from Amazon for the return policy.

I found a vendor who sell the entire line up of M performance exterior carbon pieces. I toftt and ordered the lip and rear diffuser with rear side skirts. All together with shipping is still cheaper than oem lip alone.
Will report back once I got the parts

Any luck here? Curious to get some extra data points before I take the plunge, would love the mirror caps and side inlet things, just for visual. the bottom stuff...even at cheap Chinese pricing, I figure it's gonna get beat up and I'm just not interested. Plus just had my OEM black stuff PPFed, so not throwing that away.
