The US never gives us configurators early, not until cars are ready to start landing at dealers. We won't see the US configurator for a while still.

I see frozen orange in the original post, but it is ONLY on the australian configurator (not the UK or German). Is that strange to anyone?

So if you convert it to USD the starting price is around 96k on a M4? That means out f8x's will actually appreciate a little bit.

No, pricing was in the press release.

"MSRP pricing is $69,900 for the M3 Sedan, $72,800 for the M3 Competition Sedan, $71,800 for the M4 Coupe and $74,700 for the M4 Competition Coupe. $995 Destination is in addition to all MSRP pricing."

I didn't see that, so time to sell it again? Haha

Nay, I'm a sucker for the brand and very brand loyal. My two DD is the M4 vert and X5M— so I'm can get a break from the G8x design. As I have mentioned previously, my replacement 2020 F83 was ordered incorrectly, I declined to accept and and will wait for the G83. OK to 'slum it' in a F85 to F95. Once the order bank opens next year for the G83, my order is in as I already know my color combo.

That's not bad at all for the competition package, as the M8 was close to a $10,000 price difference. Wonder why they are sitting on dealership lots.

Yeah.

I'm thinking G80 xdrive comp, exec pack, carbon pack (prob what I'll go with) will be ~low 80s if you go off the X3M pricing guide for similar packages (before any discounts).

I am shocked to hear a Yas owner say that! LOL

(As a former YMB owner who would get every car in YMB until the end of time, please don't take offense).
None taken brother! lol

YMB is by no means a "quiet" color- but the full merino leather in black offsets the exterior nicely. From the cabin, it helps by dulling your eyes to how bright it can be.

An interior in YMB alcantara and leather is very different though. And I was very surprised to see the other color options have so much neon colored choices.

No, they pay ridiculously high taxes on new cars. It will be less here, and God Bless America!

You're absolutely right, but there are some low key interior choices here. No silverstone interior surprisingly.

I am so disappointed Yas didn't make the cut despite how popular it was (it is the most common F8x in the NYC area). I am thinking Frozen Portimao blue or Fire Orange Individual.

I was surprised that no yas too, it was and is a very popular color. Crazy because I'm selling my f82 rn to get a f82 in yas haha. I believe they did it on purpose, so they would have people custom order it in yas

Doubt it. From an operations and efficiency standpoint, they don't want to do custom colors if they can avoid it and the $5,500 they charge is hardly worth it to them...they almost make it prohibitively expensive to try and discourage people lol.

The comp pack doesn't get as much differentiation from the base model as other Ms but I think in this instance that is a good thing, does not leave the manual behind with a lesser suspension, chassis, and exhaust system... (power difference is what it is)

personally i am going for comp, xdrive, exec

Color choice

I love both the M3 and M4, great design inside and out. Would be happy to have either of them. M3 slightly edges it today, as it just seems more agressive.

Portimao Blue - Best colour overall, but it's an M car, so it simply cannot use the MSport colour from a 320d.
Green - looks great on M3, but does not work on M4. Could I live with green though? No.
Red - Too orangey for me, Ferrari red maybe.
Tanzanite - too dark for M4, might just work on M3 as a Q car.
Yellow - For an M4 I think this is the color for me. It has to stand out from the crowd. For an M3 - that's a lot of yellow for a 4 door car.

Conclusion - Yellow for M4. For the M3, what the hey - yellow as well. I want to be seen from 1/2 mile away in my new M3.

They should have a new blue or differnt blue other than Portimao for the M cars, that would be the choice. Proabably that will come later.

Silverstone is available for the interior, both as extended and full. Check out the UK configuration portal.

Interesting that either full or extended black has silverstone Alcantara trim on the upper lateral aspect of the seat.
