Am I the only one that likes them? 🤷*♂️😅

Twice the price though so yeah, may as well throw a nice 911 variant of your choice in there too.
Like I had said, it isn't a rational comparison.

Last I checked, a 911 is not a high performance mid-size sedan.
No but at least they occupy the same emotional space so all is great
So let's break that down. In my post, I said: "for me at least".
You imply I'm not justified in viewing two high performance mid-sized sedans as having a greater emotional nexus with each other, than either of them with a 911.
Really? C'mon now...

I’m not so much assuming as wanting to be a fly on the wall in those meetings.

I think the impression a cross the web is enough to say there would have been some heated meetings. And someone has some sway with the head of the board

I would love to know how this occurred from inside the company.

I will categorically state this is nothing to do with race, religion, age.

I cannot see how this result was the outcome of a sensible majority within the business. Surely most of BMW M was losing sleep while a dominant minority got their way. I simply cannot believe that this got a majority vote within a boardroom.
This BMW catering to entry in a new market. It was planned.l; they're now exciting. Not a minority speak but shareholders need more coins.

"Like omg I hate this car. It's the ugliest car that's ever existed."

Same idiot two days later: "I'm gonna order one because i bet it's fun to drive"

BMW redesigns entire lineup to match because of sales from these idiots.

With all these carbon fiber looks you would expect the car to weigh ~1500kg, only to find out what a massive pig it really is.

It appears the new M3/4 is now officially a mid life crisis car

Definitely two of Bangle's worst designs (although in general the Bangle era cars have dated better than Mercedes of the same era), the LCI e65 looked good after an outcry, so I guess we can probably hold out for that with the G80?
