What's your point?

Why bringing an G83 but not an G81 to US?
Cause there is G23 coming to Merica, as there is past precedent for a M3/M4 vert. The M8 vert is a huge failure, and BMW NA needs one M vert for the US market.

Wagons are for the European markets, can thank your fellow citizens for fueling the SUV/SAV craze.

Looks good, hopefully the European car rental companies will have available in Europe. Would be great to lug golf clubs on a Scottish golf links trip.

Looks nice!

I'm not sure if I will trade in my M2C for it or not...

In my original country wagons are not popular, but exactly because of that, they are rare and a desire. My dream car has been an R36 passat, then later RS6.

Later I learned that only UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland markets love wagons; other markets love sedan. Maybe because those countries love big dogs or carrying ski equipment?

When in northern Italy there are tons of wagons but they all come from Germany. When you drive a little more south you see no wagons at all. The Italians love sedans. They also don't tow anything behind their car. Towing something makes it slow and why do you want to drive slow in Italy? Probably because of the same logic they don't like cars with big asses too...

Now I'm not even sure what is my dream car. I definitely have no need for big cars except when camping and it is raining maybe it's easier to just sleep in the car, i.e., literally sleeper.

Times have changed, people want a wagon. In fact, they do *not* want a luxury SUV, they want something different, part of the reason off-road vehicles are growing in popularity. My $.02

I think I see where you are going but I have to disagree. Better on a wagon (or maybe an SUV) but still too big for the front in general.
Disagree. I actually didn't throw up when I saw it.

It wouldn't sell in the US. Personally I'd be more excited for a 318ti type of shape. More roomy interior for people but ditch the ridiculously stretched look of the M4. The m2 interior is cramped.

I'm not so sure. The Audi RS6 has been rather lackluster. Whether that's due to the price or the near constant delays getting it to production in the US I believe wagons are a tiny niche.

I previously had a deposit on the RS6 avant but pulled out when 3 months in after orders opened up I didn't get a comm number and others who did stated that delivery wouldn't be until december at the earliest.

If the RS6 is anything to measure against I'd imagine a small 3 series wagon with a manual would have a very low take

As Ibiza stated....we live in a nation where most folks drive huge SUVS/SAVS. Hence the reason we won't be seeing these. The current market isn't designed to support wagons. People want their SUVs and huge trucks. That's MERICA for you.

In my opinion it's time we get rid of these overly huge SUVS/Trucks and Land Yachts.
But again....just my opinion.

Don't be salty because the USA is the only country that doesn't pay $10/gallon for gas, thereby allowing us to drive whatever we want! lol
