The CSL tails are plug and play, so, if the LCi tails are wired the same, they should be good.

If you want to separate the turn/ brake light, like in one of my front page posts, you need to add a wire from the passenger side kick panel and do some coding.

Yeah, there are definitely none in the country. And only 30 sets were listed in the BMW warehouse.

Yeah, I saw the euro ones available at Baum. I just didn’t want to mess with any wiring that may come up. I only paid about $75 more to get the US version, from a stateside dealer.

You may be able to post them in the classifieds, here, or you may be able to put them on eBay. The only people looking for the stock ones, are probably just people that are wrecking them and paying out of pocket for repairs, which is probably not likely, because this car is extremely expensive to repair. The stock tails, new, are about $500-$550 per side.

Hang onto them. 2025 buyers are going to want to buy them to be retro/cool when they think their CSL stock tails are played out. 😆

So dealer I ordered from online reached out next day to say something along the lines these weren’t technically compatible for my VIN (I’ve got a 2024 G82) but would work if I was just wanting to change the style 😂. Also that they were not in the USA yet and would be coming from Germany so would be 4-6 weeks so they wanted to confirm I indeed still wanted them before they charged my card and placed the order. I of course said yes so now the wait begins.

I figure thats standard operating procedure. I'm glad they didnt just cancel the order on you without any explanation. Very few dealers are "in the know" about anything other than numbers on the screen in front of them.
