And what type of a markup are you asking?

I can't believe we went from "how much discount are you offering" to "how much markup are you offering"...

Crazy times

I put in my deposit on Oct 29th, 2021, there were 3 slots above me waiting for the production date and 3 with the production date for January/Feb.

Any idea how long will I have to wait based on previous experience you guys have seen here? I am in New Jersey not sure if that matters?

btw does anyone know what are the incentives for NOV 2021 for BMW M3 Comp?

In the current market, no one (including the dealer) will be able to foresee when and how many allocations a dealer might get. Allocation rollouts used to happen in a particular frequency in the past but even that's random.

In most cases, getting a vehicle at MSRP is a deal. Other than BMW loyalty credit, there isnt any incentives from the manufacturer.

I made the deal at MSRP - But I wanted to see if there are better MF or incentives for this month of November since I can still adjust it.

It is crazy there is no light at the end of the tunnel for me.

Does anyone know what is 90 day lock?

Monthly incentive updates are communicated in this thread - https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1772091.

Once you do a credit check and you are approved for a rate, you can lock into to those rates (even if it increases in the future) for 90 days on east coast and 120 days for west coast. In the past, it used to be 60 days for east coast and 90 days for west coast.

I was told I was lucky to get my M4 Comp X, at MSRP, back in July. I joked with my CA,

"I can order a strippy strip, base and you can charge me $10K over, or you can charge me MSRP, and I'll spec to $105K, you decide." Luckily, I got the latter.

couldn't give these away when they first came out even at a huge discount

Same thing for the M5cs, couldn't find any buyers at sticker for the first one to hit the US.

I think the youtube reviews are driving up demand especially the M5cs

you don't see how you trying to make a quick buck off of a fellow enthusiast for something that cost you nothing and you don't even want is different than a car dealer adapting pricing to current market conditions?

A broker or a dealer selling an allocation over MRSP is way different from what you were trying to do with your build.

Also why would your dealer allow you to sell your build for a profit when they could do that pretty easily and pocket that money.

Are they still honoring corporate discounts for M models? Also there's that test drive event to end hunger in November, $1000 off but the fine print didn't sayy if M models were excluded.

M models are not excluded, but If you have an order already, it won't be applicable.

Are you referring to the corporate discount, or the test drive incentive? Or both?

And I am still on a waitlist, no order yet.

Nice! Didn't think they would throw M models into that...
