I got my allocation over the weekend and just confirmed with BMW Genius my Build Week is 17. So excited!

I didn’t see a thread for build week 17, so please add a link here if there is a better place to be posting. Below is my config for my G83.

• Tanzanite Blue II Metallic

Oh, one other interesting note I forgot to mention. The BMW Genius said that the build week was the week it started. I was always under the impression that the build week was the scheduled week of production complete. We’ll see what happens I guess.

build week is when its finished. It will go into production about 2 weeks before. then will finish on your build date during week 17

MellowAnteater I'll join you here on what, I guess is the 'official' Build Week 17 thread. I was in another Week 17 thread, but everybody over there got accelerated to Week 12 --- another Week 17 thread seems to have gotten accelerated to Week 16.

Unfortunately, no acceleration for me so far. Got my production # for my '25 G82 on March 21st and have been holding steady at status 112 since then. It actually worked out as I changed my wheels from 826M Black to bi-colors and added the M-Sport Suspension since my original build submission. Still holding out hope to get bumped up, but for now, planning for a Week 17 build.

Nice build. I went back and forth on the alcantara wheel and ultimately decided against it. Curious to hear your thoughts once you get.

I’ll keep my finger crossed for week 16, but guessing it will be 17. I switched to 112 on March 30th.

Just checked 'My Garage' and see that I have a VIN assigned and have flipped to 150 status! :-)

Just nagged the BMW Genius team --- they confirmed a 'production start date' of today 4/9 and that I am still a part of Week 17 with an estimated completion date of 4/24.

MellowAnteater you might want to check your status too. GL!

Hasn’t switched for me yet. Still have the rest of the week though. Genius still says I’m slotted for week 17, so I’m sure I’ll switch any day now.

I ordered mine three weeks ago but I still don't have an allocation, G83 2025 individual colors. how do allocation work?

I actually thought it meant the start date myself but turns out it's the completed date.

Thank you for this! I ordered a voodoo M4 and my BMW app shows the color as yellow but this link has it correct when I enter my vin. Appreciate it.

ManitouX5 I put my order in with the dealer, and then about a week later they called back saying they had an allocation. They usually get them the first week of the month, but I got them on the last week of March. The dealer only get so many per month given to them.

Hopefully you’ll get yours soon! You can call around and check with other dealers to see if they have an allocation. My dealer said they can even swap sometimes.

I did get a production date though. April 25th.

I'm also week 17. I'm back in a BMW since my old E34 I had in college. I don't think I can post images etc yet but I specced an M3 Comp RWD in VBRG with Tartufo interior.

I’m week 17 as well. Still stuck at 150 for the past several days. Currently in a manual LBB 2017 M2 I took via European delivery.

Getting those laser lights while you still can. I’m stuck at 150 still. Had hopes I’d wake up to some movement this morning, but nothing.

What’s everyone’s production date? I’m 4/25. I’ve seen the latest trend has been, ‘exterior body assembly’to ‘dispatched from factory’ has been 3–4 days. So🤞

Hope it's done / on a west coast ship by May 4th.

Only 6-7 more weeks of waiting...
