If you haven't boarded a boat yet and your destination is NYC, here's an update on Wallenius Wilhelmsen departures from Bremerhaven to NYC. (KLine doesn't travel to NYC).

Next 4 departures leave on:

Sept 4 (Morning Chorus) -> arrival Sept 15
Sept 5 (Don Carlos) -> arrival Sept 17
Sept 15 (Liberty) -> arrival Oct 2
Sept 25 (Tosca) -> arrival Oct 10

I have been watching the Galveston departures for a month and they are always getting pushed back. There are plenty of us waiting on cars and plenty of room at the Zeebrugge port. Treasure is already there.

Anyone know how long the WW track & trace website takes to update?

Trying to see if my m3 is on the recently departed EA229 ship. Putting "AEA22901" in the BOL Number shows No Record Found result...

BMW shows my car still at the port,

Production: 7/1
At Port: 7/4

I wonder if this is part of the problem? There are only 43 vehicles on this ship?! This is for the morning composer.

Something is going on, we have people waiting over a month for cars to be shipped and Treasure is just idling off of Zeebrugge for the next 10 days. That port is huge there are plenty of docks. The VPC at Galveston is just about empty. I have been waiting almost a month and only 2 ships have departed for Galveston.

When is treasure expected to depart? Wasn't it scheduled for 8/26?

Flipped to In Transit today. Thought maybe i was on Treasure. What is the verdict here for people on the East Coast (NY)? Anything on the way yet

It left Bremerhaven yesterday and has to wait 10days before docking in Zeebrugge. Im on Treasure and wishing it would just skip Zeebrugge all together lol

Has anyone been able to determine which Port there car as at? A couple of people posted their dealer was able to find the information. My dealer told me there system does not display that information. Genius line told me they cant tell you the port until after the car is on the ship.

FYI Treasure is not leaving Zeebruggee until Sept 1st, Due in New York Sept 10th.

You are right about Zeebrugge. They are having major problems with servicing RORO ships, and (I suspect) it has to do with onload-offload drivers. My ship Orion Highway was scheduled to arrive on 8/19, and depart on 8/20. It arrived on time but then had to spend 2 days in the offshore anchorage before being allowed into port late at night on the 21st. It was fueled yesterday but is currently still moored. I have looked at the "in port" times of several other RORO's over the past week or so, and have seen from 4 to 10 days in port. This is not normal. On a possible more positive note.. they have brought in 4 additional RORO's just this morning. Maybe...

It appears something is going on at the ports beyond BMWs control. Drive Green was at the port in Zeebrugge over a week before heading over to Bremerhaven. Dealer in DFW just posted a note due to severe inventory shortages we can only accept orders within 70 miles of the dealer. There was a brief story on MSNBC about labor troubles at the German ports. It said it was effecting container traffic but didn't mention the Autos. For those of us still stuck on the port it looks like its going to be a while

Update: Orion Highway has taken on more cargo, and is under way with tugs through the harbor. Should be clear of the port in another hour or two. Scheduled to arrive in Baltimore 9/4.

Same here. I called genius when I saw the change and the woman told me that the car was at the dealership! Called my SA and he said:

“The car left the port in Germany yesterday and they are estimating it to take 13 days to get to our port. The car should arrive to the dealer on the week of the 5th”

Sounds like it may be delayed beyond that though now

The last WW ship into Galveston did not drop off any cars. Not sure what they were offloading for 3 days but the BMW VPC still looks empty. If they are only shipping on Kline we only have 1 or 2 ships a month.

I had read in one of the threads that someone did an analysis of ships going to Galveston, and in most cases it was a Kline ship. Our next chance is 26th, and then Sept 1st.

Does anyone have info on boats/schedules headed to the west coast (Oxnard)? I am in North Idaho and this is apparently where my car will be introduced to the mainland.
