Anyone sharing same ship ? (Auto Energy)
Hey, after 4wks waiting in a port my baby seems to be on the boat!
This is info I have from dealer: Vessel: Auto Energy Voyage #: ATL22063 X-ref #: 22348-01 1. Anyone on a same boat? 2. And anyone has advise which tracker should I use? Im confused a little but as the only ship Insee is going to Spain. Dealer said it has to be that one as they may be dropping of or picking up some cars, but numbers are not matching. I need someone smarter then me |

I am on this ship as well. It looks like this ship is just for short hauls around Europe. I THINK it will unload the cars in Spain and then load them onto another ship, bound for the US.
This has not been corroborated by BMW or my CA, just my assessment based on looking at the UECC website, etc. |

Yes I'm on this same boat. I posted this in week 32. I am supposed to be going to Brunswick by am taking the slow way there. If you a south east US delivery than this sort of sucks but is what it is. Going to California and then getting transported all the across country… arriving in Cali on oct.15th..
"So the genius called me back after doing some investigating and basically it sounds like BMW made the decision to put cars on this boat they really don't use in order to keep things moving due to issues at port. 39 days for an oct.15th arrival at port hueneme is correct…😔. If you're on that boat and bound for an east coast port than they will either continue on a boat that way or send cars by train or something. That will likely add weeks… going to port at Brunswick was supposed to be less of a head ache…! Their system isn't setup for this alternate boat so it looked confusing to the genius at first. Im looking at loading on a vessel on sept. 6th and arriving to my dealer in possibly November at this point. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come for future week builds" |

I was loaded on this ship as well. My CA gave me the exact info that OP posted. Stats for reference: West coast (LA) bound car, BW31/32. Original prod date of 8/5, stuck in QC and dispatched from factory on 8/12. At port since 8/15, total time of 26 days at port.
To track ship location, I like using https://www.myshiptracking.com/ and search vessel "auto energy" for a live map view. This site's live maps was quite useful on tracking ships coming into and out of Bremerhaven/Zeebrugge ports. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as this is the first time I've heard all US region (east, west, south) bound cars get loaded onto a ship together. The theory that cars would ger dropped off at Barcelona, Spain made sense until I checked NYK and WW schedules; none have any voyages out towards Barcelona. I've tried following UECC's schedule and it makes no sense to me. The ship is scheduled to arrive on Barcelona on 9/17 with no other port stops until 10/4 (Vigo), 10/7 (Zeebrugge) and 10/10 (Bremerhaven). The only NYK vessel schedule headed for Spain is Cassemius Leader with ETA to Vigo on 10/14. Assuming we get picked up there, ETA on that vessel to Port Hueneme is 11/17. By that estimation how can we expect to hit Port Hueneme by 10/15? Thoughts?? : |

Per the UECC schedule, it looks like there is one more (yet to be named) stop after Barcelona. It looks like it is scheduled for the day after (as of now anyway), so it can't be too far away. Maybe Vigo?

I see this all the time it will eventually populate, the boats are typically within 7 days before or after the ETA Date. Everyone in Southern California should receive their cars about a week of the landing date at the latest as long as they process them quickly in Oxnard. They make sold cars priority because they want the units to move. Make sure you dealers all put your names and mark them as sold on the internal BMW server that way they will be first to be processed and released to a shipping company. One more month!
