Nice driving and looks like the car did just fine! On my F80 I just had brake pads, fluid and NT01 tires and I felt like it was all it really needed to be dependable and fun.
I've been looking for an organization to run with at Road America... I usually have done Chin and HOD for the most part but not familiar with MVP, CGI, KMR... group you were with seems like about what I'm interested in.

Road America is such a sweet track. Here's some video from my track day there in 2019. Can't wait to take my future G82 there summer 2022.

My local indy shop that I have used for years now has sent out a request to a smaller manufacturer in the hopes that they will agree to make these pads. In order to do this though he will have to provide them with my current BMW OEM's once I have worn them out. Shouldn't take too long. I will keep all of my fingers and toes crossed. Until track pads show up we are going to be dependent upon BMW OEM non track oriented pads which will probably be short lived, are very expensive at best, and usurious at worst. The best price I have found so far is $537 going up to $692 for front and rear. Ouch! For those interested the BMW Part #'s are: Front: 34-10-8-093-705 best price $168 Rear: 34-20-8-093-728 best price $369 Good luck to us all.

The only cars I see frequently leaving before a 20 minute or 30 minute session are the Mustangs, Camaro's, other exotics. Seems like guys who "built" up, heavily modded a car, also typically can't finish a full session.

I am not comfortable with running pads from two different manufacturers on a car at the same time, especially when one is a race pad, and the other is a street pad. I might make an exception if the front pads were the race pads, and the rears were the street pads, but that can't happen in this case. So as much as it hurts, I will be placing an order with "BMW Parts Wholesale" for both the front and rear BMW OEM pads. My hope is that when I blow through the current ones in mid June I will have a second set ready to go. Gotta keep up the momentum ya know.
