Well don’t worry I can’t even go pick it up until Monday as I work this weekend and then taking for full PPF and tint so they will have it for 4 days…so, more waiting ahead for me haha

You’ll still have yours weeks before I will haha. Mine still has to get to the coast, get driven to Washington to some “distribution center” then down to my dealership in OR.

10/19/24: got a production number status 111
10/22/24: put in status 102
10/27/24: back to 111 status special order color showing on my bmw
11/24/23: status 112
12/5/23: status 150; Production begins; VIN number assigned
12/15/23: status 151: exterior body assembly begins
12/18/23: status 152 — In The Paint Booth
1/10/24: status 153-155
1/11/24: status 182 awaiting carrier assignment
1/12/24: status 190 dispatched from factory
1/15/24: status 193 at the port
1/29/24: status 195 In transit, on Brooklands
2/7/24: still status 195 in transit, but via ship tracking, the ship arrived at Sparrows point USA
2/11/24: back to status 193, arrived at Brunswick, GA port
2/14/24: status 195, in transit
2/15/24: at the dealership

Dropped off for PPF and tint. Suppose to pick up Saturday. For the 15 minutes I drove it, it seemed pretty bad ass. Although I was uber paranoid about getting dings before the PPF

Ya I’m thinking about getting some blue painters tape to cover the front of mine when I pick it up. I have to make a 3 hour drive back home

Hahahahaha yes I saw that post about someone doing that. The track wrap seems like a pretty cheap option on amazon too

I'd be interested to know how much the shop is charging you for your PPF. Are you getting anything else done additionally like ceramic coating or glass/leather treatment?
