You can.... you can get it with extended or with full leather. The leather you choose doesn't impact your ability to get the exec pack.

I was able to add the executive package w/out the full merino leather.

Still not 100% sure on which exterior color I want to get. I really liked Oxide, but seems like they got rid of it for 2023.

PS - Deposit made on Feb 5th 2022. Waiting for an allocation

So after playing on the BMW configurator last night for about an hour since the 2023 options are finally showing, I came to the realization that I do in fact want the full leather now....and here's why:

1) The red stitching - Love it, and the main reason why I'm opting for the full leather. Reminds me of the interior on my C450, which I loved as well.

2) The $250 discount you receive in conjunction with the Executive pkg. since the SensaTec is replaced with leather on the dash.

The question comes down to sticking with the Interlagos 50 Jahre incl. buckets vs. building my own in AR with Buckets and a more colorful extended leather interior. The 50 Jahre interior is black, I personally would have liked a different interior. If i build my own I could save a couple of 1,000 bucks or close to 10K if I actually omit the xDrive altogether. I have never owned a all wheel drive car, only SUVs. I trust rear wheel drive with winter tires, but it seems that the performance difference of the xDrive is significant. With supply chain issues still looming, I do know that the 50 Jahre will be built first on the MY23 assembly line, therefore will most likely stick with it and be done.

Since I had just picked up one of the last new M2 CS I was not looking at the new M 3/4 at all, but the G80 has definitely grown on me quickly.

Then it's a glitch or you can't do it with Fjord Blue.

iDrive 8 along with the Godawful ugly desktop monitor plonked on the dash is used in all 2023 versions of the 3 Series including the M3. In the 4 Series none of the ICE cars including the M4 get this abomination. The pre 2023 dashboard screens and iDrive 7 continue. The 2 Electric models i4 and i4 M50 get iDrive 8 with the monitor. The 2023 4 Series cars have not yet been added to the BMW USA site, but can be found on BMW Germany.

I got a chance to drive the i4 a few weeks ago. I think I drive 8 looked really good in person. Actually the only thing I missed was the quick access buttons and the climate control buttons. However the climate control screen was always available but it got a little messy with ventilated/heated seats.

Could be a glitch. I was able to do this with all the non-full merino leather colors. What I did was, went to Interior, clicked the basic black (even if its already selected by default), went to select the exec package, and went back to change the interior color of my choice.

I think our CA's can help clarify.

I'm not gonna lie... while I was set on the manual to begin with... the lower price is also a huge plus. I'm getting a well equipped 6MT car along with an individual color for $86k

Yea it was a glitch…I thought maybe it was the aventurine red but then I was able to do the same. So I can still get to the reverse superman I have on order…et pending order. I hate the xDrive badge.

I just look at it as the G80 being the E39 successor. It's basically an M5 at this point.
