My CA said that he had clients from December get allocations March 4th for April builds. So I think we all moved up in line.

Interesting...for M3 xDrives? Then I either got BSed about being first in line prior to the last round of allocations (I was told I still didn't get one, and in fact that the dealer got none at all), people skipped over me (only reason that would happen would be if people were paying over sticker -- I got mine at MSRP), or my CA is wrong and I did get an allocation. Hmmm...

Yes for X drives. For all I know, my CA was lying to me just so that I’d stop asking him questions. I don’t want to have to go into the dealership and talk to a manager but clearly they’re not being very transparent about the waiting list or their allocations.

He didn’t say how many allocations they got this month. All he said was that he had a December customer get an allocation this month for an April build. Any updates from your CA?

Yeah, who knows what's going on. I initially was told by my CA that he was almost positive they had an allocation ready to go when I put my deposit down, and it was only later that I found out I was actually a few back on the waitlist (don't even remember what spot I was, something like 4th or 6th I think). Sucks, but it's not like I could just go to another dealer and get an allocation at MSRP any faster. I wish BMW somehow took control and made things more transparent. Ordered from Tesla recently, and you at least know your order is in and have a date to expect it -- with BMW, it's now been 3 months and I don't know what's happening, nor do I really have a way to find out. They're also listing anything that hits the lot at $15k over, which makes me suspicious -- for all we know, they could be selling allocations for over MSRP and leaving all of us in the dust, and there's not one thing we could do about it.

I'm out of Maryland with a slick Brooklyn Grey M3CX(1900 odo) free and clear title if anyone is interested. MD state inspected and I'm sticking with buyers in the DMV area.

I should have it up on FB marketplace by the end of the weekend. MSRP 86,530 and I'll probably list at 92,500. Just a feeler for the person that'll get more use out of it than me.

Really depends. If you have a stop sale that will hold you up and hopefully they do not run out of parts. I have heard people waiting 20 days. I had two stop sales and knew about them before my car arrived. Once it got here it went through customs in 2 days and then straight to the VPC. Work order started 6 days later and the first stop sale was closed the next day and the second 4 days later. The next day it was at the dealership and I took 2 days later. The last 2 weeks Baltimore has been flowing pretty good.

I went into Alexandria yesterday to check out the M5 they have and talk to the CA, who said I'm actually number 2 on the waitlist when I was previously told I was number 1. Not sure what to make of it, but it's annoying, and it seems I've only moved 2-4 spots (I can't remember exactly where I was) since I put my deposit down in December. They do have a base M3 with a manual available that they offered me at MSRP, and they said they get 1 less allocation every month because that one is unsold.

Yeah it is, but I was told they "really want it gone" -- not sure why they have it listed for $15k over then, but if anyone wants it, they'll sell it for MSRP.

Mine is the portimao blue g83 and he put the stealth wrap on it.
