All dark wheels looks like a giant hole from far away. You can't see design unless in 20 ft range.

"Maximum lightweight" has been used multiple times, but not a single mention of the actual weight/weight difference compared to the F8x wheels.
I couldn't cringe any harder at the highlighter yellow wheels. I thought the M-Performance wheels looked nice until I saw the holes in the spokes. 763M and the GT4 wheels still look the prettiest IMO.

BMW M stock wheels are nice but they can't for some reason can't match the look of aftermarket wheel like bbs or hre. Laguna seca is looking mighty fine on the M 4.

Hoping they release the weights of each wheel. I think from a marketing standpoint, you would want to do that if you're in the "performance car" segment.

M3 Performance Wheels 1000M
Anyone heard if they will be available in North America. I have phoned BMW Canada and USA and they couldn’t answer. Why do all this marketing if won’t sell them?

Another pointless marketing attempt to explain the G8x. Strange how they state that the wide range of designs cover every taste. Not mine actually, the 17/18 combo seems the most clean and pure to me.

M performance wheel is very cool & I love that form follows function with it, so many possibilities with custom colour matching or contrasting paint on the cut-outs too. G80 lowered on a set of these in 19/20 with the right colour cutouts will look great. 826M looks quite nice too imo.
Whatever wheel design you like buy it & don't worry if it's a couple of kilo heavier as it's not going to make any difference to how much you enjoy your road car. If you are regularly tracking your car you will have a dedicated set of rims with semi's or slicks. And if you compete seriously you will have dedicated track car.

Zzzz
The M Performance wheel made by SAI is yet another knock off of the original BBS FIR with its much more elegant relief hole design. SAI's version looks so crude with its simple squares - too many of them - giving it a rudimentary aesthetic. I have no doubt the FIRs are still lighter, stronger with superior stiffness in comparison. Just give us the classic BBS y spoke in silver or black like Porsche GT offers in magnesium as part of their Weissach pkg. Heck, they were almost there with the M3 CSL and E9X, but learn from the Porsche GT team and max out offset and width rendering aftermarket options moot. BMW M continues to remain far too conservative in the wheel/tire fitment dept, yet goes ape sht full on qanon mode with the pig snout grill. SMH

... "something for every customer'' but nothing for me...
I miss the old M3 unique style wheels. Where are the full silver wheels? We must swallow the mixed style just because? And the "creme de la creme", the full black and Subaru gold wheels not only look they don't look anything special but are painted boring or tasteless. The Sao Paolo is presented "emphasizing the maximum lightweight" while two guys are holding it... LOL |

Apparently people watch it on their phone more. But, I'd much rather watch it landscape on my phone than portrait anyway and then it would work for both phone and computer.

I really did like the video but they missed mentioning the actual wheel weights which was a bit strange I thought

I don't know how many times they mentioned weight without giving any kind of numbers...
Design wise i actually like the base wheels but the i really hate that M performance with poorly painted yellow inserts... even with a SPY car it's barely convincing and would look totally out of place on any other paint colors i think. But i'm one of the few exceptions that don't like BBS wheels XD |

I find the G8X wheel design to look too "busy", but I guess it fits with the new G8X design language. I am eager to find out how much they weigh.

I hated those 963Ms the first time I saw them with the yellow accents (still do) but in monochrome they actually look pretty good.
