Here is one I almost bought before I decided to go with my own order. TB still a possibility but SSG now top of my list (undecided)

Lightbulb

Front black plastic spoiler(s). Subtle. Need to find part numbers.

I would have done this color due to the fact the black gloss trim blends in much better. Too late to the blue party. Mystic Blau, 2005 330Ci ZHP was my last blue BMW.

Yes that's different. If you go to the 2nd post on page 1 of this thread you'll see another TB with similar parts

My vote is bi-color. I don't think black wheels work with Tanzanite. In some lighting conditions, it can look dark and flat and needs some silver to brighten it up. I ordered the 825m wheels for my Tanzanite M3.

They both look good, J. So it's a personal preference. Just peruse this thread and you'll see plenty of pix of both, and then make the decision of what looks good to your eyes.

I believe it also depends on the theme you seek. I wanted a dark theme outside to compliment my light interior. So I ordered Shadowline and the dark wheels, for an understated, sinister look, especially when dusk or at night.

But the bi-color wheels look good too, and offer a good contrast to the paint (and may look best with the non-shadowline trim, with the brighter headlight housings and chrome tips). The caliper color may matter too.

My G82 with the dark theme:

Looks similar to the air diverters under the Audi B9 platform. I replaced them on the Audi due to the broom effect from draggin'.

I too was agonizing between the bicolor 825M and the Jet-black 826M. I ended up ordering mine with the 825M bicolor to make it "pop" more and be a little sportier and I didn't really like them as much as I thought I would when I got my car (depending on the lighting). I'm now thinking maybe a little M440ish with this color? (all subjective/ eye of the beholder, etc).

I just installed the winter wheel set I just bought (826M Jet Black and staggered Conti DWS06
and IMO it really transforms the car. I'm thinking of leaving them on most of the time. It all depends on the look you're trying to achieve (I wanted a slightly more aggressive look than the bicolors).

^^^hey thanks for the comp pics. really helps my decision to see them together.

i decided to go with the bi-color 826M. looking straight on the bi-color looks too shiny but at an angle they pop more than black. u see more of the concave wheel design. at dusk and night time it'll pop more too. plus, IMO, with the m3 and the angles of the body i just think the bi-color lets the TZ blue and shape stand out more. like u said its all subjective

Congrats! Can't go wrong either way. You are so right about the bicolor 826M working better with the G80 M3's lines (plus they'll look a A LOT cleaner for longer). Had a had an M3, it would have been Frozen Dk Grey and would have done the same...

I was going to go Frozen dk grey but it's too hard to maintain and paint match is impossible if something happens. it was my first choice for 5 months especially since for MY 23 it was an option. swithced to TZ II when my allocation came up 2 weeks ago.

is TZ II hard to maintain? how u liking it?

It has 2 personalities. It's stunning and is really eye catching on a sunny, bright day, but I didn’t imagine it would be so dark on more overcast days. It also looks like a "muddy" BSM (Black Saph. Metallic) at night.

Coming from a Marina Bay Blue M5, a Sepang Blue RS5 and a LeMans Blue E92 335, I guess I prefer the "pop" of a brighter blue metallic color (on a coupe anyway). My other 3 BMWs were silver (Glacier, etc), the 911 was Agate Gray (I fell out of love with that color to the point of almost getting it wrapped Frozen Blue like Mr. JWWs GT3, Imust have watched that video 5x).

Tanz BM is a little under the radar for an M car, which is both a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the look you're trying to achieve (it also helps to blend in the grilles a bit). Upkeep is not bad at all, similar to a black car, but I'd highly recommend ceramic to make the color deeper & more reflective.

If I had to do it all over again and time wasn't of the essence, I'd either get a Frozen DK Grey (FDG) or IOM Green M3, or San Marino Blue or FDG M4. Yes, the upkeep scared me away from Frozen paint 3x now.

Pretty happy with both Tanzanite Blue 2 and Kaylami Orange. Car looks and feels great. PPF next.

Also, that stupid pidgeon that had to ... use my car just before driving from the dealership for the first time. At least I hope it brings good luck

G20 but gives you the basic idea on pg 2 of the thread. Yes night and day (especially during overcast days. the blue metallic flake disappears)

I was wondering if anyone did the extended shadow line trim deletion with their order? Wanted to know if it suits the car better. The order is a G80Cx with full Fiona and 826m bicolors.
