Awesome! Glad to hear it. I don't know how their list is so short, but I checked literally every dealer within 500mi of me and they were the only one that didn't have an insane list or insane markup.

Seems like quite a few people aren't taking delivery on their M3/4... I just picked one up 2 days ago (exact spec I've been wait for 6 months on).
Good news is that BMWFS has a 3.99% offer now on 60 months. I took that.

Bumping this thread as I may be in the market for an M3x Comp soon. What’s the current allocation / order situation look like? I’m not in a huge hurry, if I order would need a car before August. Willing to travel in Texas or do PCD.
Thanks! |

Again, I got really lucky and I’m still looking at 5-6 months at least until I see the car. So I would say unless you get an allocation, meaning order actually submitted with an order number, within the next month or 2, there’s no way you see that thing until after August. Most DFW dealerships are quoted 12 months+, but if you work hard it on the phones and call all over Texas you peob could get lucky too, especially with rates up and prices if trades going down. I live in Houston and I called about 40 dealerships mid January - gradually increasing in radius away from my home. Then, when allocations hit earlier this month, I got called by 3 dealers telling me they had allocations for me.
If you call around, you'll find a car for either this allocation cycle or the next. |

I finally got a G80 allocation after 15 months of waiting. Got a G83 off the lot to help the wait, so wasn’t as proactive in finding one . Now that the wait is over I feel the pressure to decide on a color combo!! Like most of us, I’ve flip flopped a dozen times over the past year. Went by BMW of South Austin this afternoon, and they happened to just get a SG on FR G83. It is still available in case anyone is interested. Car is stunning. I was deciding between that and AR (which I’m yet to see on a G8x in person), but I think I’ve decided on SG.

Sigh, San Antonio BMW said they won't use an allocation on someone outside their area.
I heard that South Austin BMW tacks on a bunch of crap like nitrogen filled tires. |

BMW South Austin does require some ceramic window tint, door guards and nitrogen tires…I think total was around $1000 and I couldn’t get out of it. But they have always been an msrp dealer/no adm(including my lrg 50 Jahre) and were easy to work with for me. I worked with Lucas Boyd.

BMW Austin sells at MSRP and doesn’t tack anything on. But I was on their list 11/22, got an allocation on 6/22 and took delivery 11/23. So took a year for me.
