Windshield tint and heads up display?

Anyone tinted their windshield? Any effects on the heads up display?

Have my windshield tinted and the heads up display looks perfectly fine, even better imo since it's being projected to a slightly darker background and contrasts more.

70% tint for UV rejection and zero issues on any car I've done it on (all in the past 10 years at least).

I forget the exact percentage (I think it’s 80%)but I tinted my windshield with ceramic and if anything I’d say it enhanced the HUD.
Truth be told I am not a fan of HUD on any of my vehicles so I either scroll it all the way down (out of my view) or off depending on vehicle. I did check when I got the car back just to see if it changed it and like I said, I think it enhanced it (brighter/more clear).

Asked and answered here: https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2052922

After having the windshield tinted, can confirm it made the HUD more visible, not less.
