Anyone get the LCI steering wheel from Cvrbonized?

Ordered about 5 weeks ago and patiently still waiting…

Curious if anyone has ordered and received theirs yet and how it’s looking in terms of quality, fit and finish…

The quality of the carbon looks pretty bad, if they sent me that for $1200 i'd be pretty pissed. Lets hope those were prototypes and not actual finished wheels.

Yeah, I’m a little worried overall, but hopefully it turns out good. They also told me they had some issues with the vibration motors during manufacturing.
The bad news is that they probably won’t accept returns because it’s made to order, so if it doesn’t turn out good we’re screwed

The trim should be replaceable so if you can't return the wheel they should still send you out the carbon trim that doesn't look like a mess.

I’d stay away from this company. Currently dealing with a ton of quality issues on a full aero kit I purchased from them

I ordered my wheel on March 6th - said it would take 25-35 days to arrive and it's been now 40 days (not sure if I'm supposed to count weekends lol) but I messaged him last week and he indicated it's almost ready so not sure how much longer.

Looks like Autotecknic has it in stock. Not OEM but one alternative.

The carbon quality also seems to be a mess on those wheels, probably same supplier.

IND had this listed on their site at one point, but looks like this removed it. IND is all about quality and if this didnt pass their standards thats all i need to know.

ill wait for the OEM version to be available!

It’s in the back of the steering wheel.

I wonder what will be the work around to activate the heated wheel since the LCI wheel has no button.

Either you go aftermarket where a button is put on the back of the wheel, or you go without heating. If I end up getting the alcantara wheel, I don't care to have heating anyways as they stay relatively neutral in temperature.

We have it mounted on the side of the trim. And wired to the OEM harness.

There is another post with poor quality and customer service on another thread from Cvrbonized. Sounds like it's not just steering wheel issues.

I will take responsibility where I am wrong, but again there’s 2 sides to every story. Unfortunately whoever posts first will get the most supporters.

What was wrong: the pdc sensor slot was off. I take responsible for that. And always have. We started putting foam around the air vents to seal it better, customer didn’t like it. Totally fine, it could of been pushed back to seat better but whatever I’ll accept responsibility for that.

The thread doesn’t include the completely free trim I was willing to give him retailing at 400-600 from other vendors, the expidited shipping I paid for him to get his replacements. The constant updates I sent him on progress. Was the grill subpar to my standards, yes. Were we willing to fix it for him? Of course.

Like every small business there will be a bad apple or 2, that doesn’t negate all the positive reviews I have received from multiple customers and the many more people with no complaints… I believe I did everything in my ability to rectify the situation. So no I don’t think my customer service is poor. I don’t think the quality of my products are poor either. If there’s a problem reported on our end we will do everything we can to fix the problem for future customers and make it right with the current customer. As show here. I have many screenshots of the whole conversation to back this up as well.

Get a better supplier so we and you won't have to deal with this nonsense.
