Carbon Bootlid Question

Obviously it’s a lot lighter than oem. Issue is the lid literally springs up when you unlock it. So I keep my hand on the top as I unlock it. The CSL spring / bootlid strut structures are ridiculous money - I’ve been quoted 2000euros. Are there any aftermarket solutions out there? Or spring options?
