You should contact downstar they’ll probably tell you…..sorry couldn’t help it. Part of the money you pay for their kits gets you the proper sized bolts for every location and takes all the guess work and research out of it. I actually bought a kit from them and painted them to color match the car. By the time you source and research each bolt I feel the cost is worth it.

I have them all sized out in a spread sheet that I can upload as soon as I get back home for you.

Here's the link for the document I created.
The above color coded picture only includes the original kit locations. I used that picture for reference and added color coded arrows to the locations of the bolts in the deluxe kit. It's fairly self explanatory in the document. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...f=true&sd=true

I saw this post last night and I thought it was so sick that not only you compiled this, but were willing to help people out. There’s good people still out there. Glad to be a part of the same community as you man. |

Appreciate the love man. I'm just a guy that loves cars. Been tinkering with them for as long as I can remember helping my old man crank on classic muscle cars growing up. I've always tried to do everything I can on my own because I feel that's how you learn to love and appreciate your rides. Fell in love with BMW and the M cars in particular with the LSB E46 and just have a passion that I like sharing and helping a fellow enthusiast out when I can.
