Saw that today - really dig what they did. Almost too stock looking, but I like it. Hopefully the price is reasonable.

Supposedly for this intake to be effective you will need a tune and potentially bigger turbos, otherwise it's no different than stock in power gains. Not feeling the look of the intake boxes. They seem a bit odd.

I like that they’re being honest here and not using a bunch of flowery pseudo science to make claims about how much power an intake is going to make

Its interesting that it doesnt make any power. Many feel that removing the carbon filters and swapping in BMCs makes 8-10 on the stock system and stock tuning. So thats a bit concerning to me. I will JB4 or tune either way. The BMC swap was my plan, then i thought maybe this based on taking air from the fenders. Not sure now….

FWIW, I noticed 0 difference removing the carbon filters and putting in BMC's. You can hear a good bit more spool with the windows open, but I notice 0 power difference. Not sure if I'd be able to feel 10whp anyway to be honest, though.

I’ll keep an eye on this over time. I would maybe pop BMCs in for the first year or so with a midpipe, and then swap to this if it makes power with a JB4, when i go that way. Im not a fan of the open filters in the engine bay, and dont want all the flashy CF either.

You can't see, so its a waste or it gets dirty and discolored so now its ugly.

You can just wrap the boxes in vinyl CF and be set. I'd might even cut holes in the top for whoosh noises.

This intake indeed looks really well built and solid. Price isn't to bad and better looking than stock. The website says aggressive intake sound but I wonder how it compares to the BMS or MST intakes as far as noise? If it sounded like those I might be interested but somehow I don't think it would?

Its a closed intake, it wont be as loud as BMS or MST
