Take his reply with a grain of salt. My CA said I have none yet the bmw recall tool says I have two. Not sure who to trust.

Which tool are you using? The couple I googled seem to send me to older BMW recall tools.

The week you start production isn't the build week, the build week refers to the week of completion. Given that the factory has shut down now (I think) for the Christmas holidays, I think you would be build week 2. For mine, it took 10-12 days to move from 150 to the next step if I remember correctly!

Checking online. I believe your car was dispatched prior to mine so maybe your online tracker is lagging behind?

Yeah, It has to be inaccurate based on ours being at port and yours left before ours.

Damnittttt, I want to call Genius right now to confirm but my little minion slumbers on me and she naps for a while. The bags under my eyes, the lack of trimming the beard, the fact that I've been driving a Tesla Model Y for almost a year now, and the general look of death on my face as I haven't slept in almost 7 months should tell you how eager and looking forward to this car I am

Just got off the phone with genius, man their words can bring you back to reality at times

So my car is still showing on its way to port, it could be that it just wasn't scanned yet is all. Then she said "and even then, it'll take 1-3 weeks to assign a vessel so I'd check back in next week if anything"

Patience is not my strong suit, lawd help me

My car hit production begins on November 30th and did not move to the next step until December 13th. If you call Genius, they will give you an estimated completion date that should be pretty accurate as long as you are Production Begins.

I'd bet it just wasn't scanned in. It's gotta be at the port.


I just spoke to my CA. No stop sales showing on my car. Hopefully that means no stop sales for any of us week 50'ers.

My car is highly optioned so that was awesome to hear.
