With a few basic mods, software and a few bolt-on the M4 will be faster 0-100kph and 1/4 mile than a Turbo S 911 that is about 4 x the price here in AU. So no brainer !!!

I think we're saying the exact same thing but are defining "cross-shopping" differently. I owned 911s for over 25 years and would love to own 911s for another 25 years. But with a price difference of 100k (AUD or USD), I didn't consider another one at the time of my M4 purchase.

It’s not, the roof is body color if you option the moonroof, and painted black if you opt for the graphic exterior paint.

I can confirm as I have a ‘25 with the moonroof. My roof is skyscraper grey.
