I need some advice from the community to help me decide

I currently have a G82 M4CX with Carbon Pack (TBII & Silverstone/Black) but I’m in the process of trading in for a G80 M3CX with Ultimate Pack (BSM & Fiona Red/Black).

I ordered the M3 in September last year and it’s due for delivery in March….however today the dealership contacted me to offer me an M3 CS in Brooklyn Grey - the last unregistered one available in their dealership network

It’s clearly significantly more expensive than the M3CX (3x the down payment and £100/month more) but it’s obviously a more rare and exclusive car, however it also doesn’t come with many of the options you get in the Ultimate Pack (as far as I’m aware)

So what’s the general consensus - is the CS worth the £££ uplift, or is a fully optioned M3CX an equally good car and a better value purchase, just without the exclusivity?

It’s your money if you like and want an M3 CS than buy it.

I would attempt to negotiate discounts.

The CS has a different ethos. Its buckets only, has a bunch of special accents, and it's a bit harder-edged. Are all of those things you want?

Don't chase some fictional "exclusivity". Yes these are limited cars but they aren't Pistas or LT's, GT3's, etc. At the end of the day you need to want that car.

So if you want a CS, and you can swing the extra cash, by all means do it! But don't just buy one because it's there if that's not what you want.

If you weren't already thinking about or wanting a CS, why would you buy it? Costs more, and will lack certain features that you may care about in a more "practical" sports car. Avoid the up-sell. If you want exclusive cars, there are many more to choose from, but maybe that is for another day?

If you're planning to actually drive thr car and keep it for awhile, stick with the G80CX. If it's going to be a weekender that you will end up selling in a couple years, get the CS.

The true cost of ownership is purchase price minus sales price (also factoring in interest if you finance and any maintenance). Buying a brand new car, driving it sparingly, then selling it in 2 years for a huge depreciated value is not wise. But at least the CS will probably not depreciate as quickly as the CX.
