I am already looking for events in the Regional Forums. I need to get 1200 miles in quick here in or around California and then get my first service done with my regular shop before I drive to Cocoa Beach Florida and spend all of September in the East.

Yesterday I got a call from my ca to let me know that my M3 comp. gets released by the vpc on August 6 and expect the car to arrive early next week at the dealer in Beaverton, OR.
Anybody else got a word from their ca?

My CA is still checking, not able to give any ETA at the moment.
Interestingly, the dealership service manager's new car was on the Orion Leader as well. Let's see if they can expedite.

Genius told me that I can expect to pickup by August 6th at the latest. Dealer is 60 miles from the port.

So just got off the phone with the Genius, he told me that the car should be dispatched from the VPC by August 15th. He also said the work order has started, whatever that means. 2 weeks seems a little excessive to me. Its headed to the Bay Area so anyone else who is headed to the Bay maybe can chime in? Michael-CA have you heard anything from Genius/CA?

Reached out to Genius this morning and the CA just now....more to come!

I placed the order in February, so that's the elephant in the room for me right now as well. Hoping that I don't get obliterated.. They will send the finals tomorrow

Guess I should ask for the final invoice as well so it's not a total shock at pick-up

Do you have any accessories on the purchase order? I have carbon fiber side skirts and mirror caps being added at the port. I assume that’s what they are talking about.

Also, just checked my car and it has been moved to the VPC today. I assume everyone else’s was too. I probably won’t be on the same truck as any of you all so I don’t think there are any more updates I can provide. I’m having the CF parts installed and headed east a few states. Too many variables to know for certain when it’ll be here. Still hopeful for the 15th. Looking forward to tracking its movements while on the truck.

My CA also told me by Friday as opposed to what Genius said, hopefully all of them will be up in the Bay before the end of the week

Nope, I have no Port Installed options at all. Its going to be staying the same way it was dispatched from the factory. I am just banking on Geniuses being useless and wrong as always😂
