R44s version has a slat on the bottom as well.

Not saying they aren’t sourcing in a similar matter (other places have this design too), but the one in the video is different.

The inner portion of the grill, closest to the center of the car does not insert all the way. If you all seen the R44 video on the grill, that is the reason why they are drilling in the grill. You can push in the grill to make it fit right but it ends top popping out a little. The screws would hold them in.

It is hard to tell from a distance and most won't notice with a quick glance but I know its there. I have sent Autotecknic an email asking for the CSL replacement instead so we will see how their customer service goes. I know I am taking a risk posting this, knowing that Autotecknic might see this and not want to help but I'd rather keep the community notified of the issue I had. I have NOT had an issue with their inlet or. spoiler.

I don't get why people are only starting to realize all the places that sell carbon get everything from the same source.

Do you think the foam has anything to do with it?

Mine get delivered tomorrow. So we'll see how mine go.

Grilles dropped today. Initial impression is very nice.

Just an update, I sent Autotecknic an email 3 days ago, with a follow up email today, and did not receive a response. I am going to give them till Friday before I submit a chargeback(something I hate doing).

If you are buying the grill, get it from iND or another reputable vendor because their customer service is lacking at this point.

Try calling them. I was having slow responses via email as well, but I called and was able to talk to someone. When it prompts you choose Sales (not support). 2 of the 3 things I ordered from them were perfect and fit great (The air ducts, and rear diffuser), but the spoiler had some defects so I needed a refund.

It's Dongsai, an Alibaba company. Chinese sourced.

If you bought from IND go through them. I had a quality issue with this brand on one of the back headrest carbon pieces and they took care of getting in contact with the brand and everything resolved through them. No complaints from me.

I also had issues with their(autotecknic) products too.

So far so good. I went almost all in as you can see with the exception of the side skirts and rear corners which I ordered from England. I'll report back later in the year on how the parts are holding up. I did add PPF after the install so hopefully the look won't change as I add miles to the car
