My car just flipped back to at the port so they did unloaded the cars. Anyone else ?

Maybe we should have a customer service competition? Which dealer calls their customer first that their vehicle is on the truck. I like my dealership and SA but not sure they will be first. No need call out name. Just date of when they got a call

I will bet any amount of money that I will be last. In fact, doubt I'll even get a phone call when the car is ready to pick up. I'll have to call them to inquire, as has been the case throughout the entire process.

Hah, sounds good. My experience is closer to what OfficiallyBroke reports.

I called Genius this AM. They still have Fidelio arriving on 4/30. I pointed out to her that MyGarage has the car back at port and she said THAT was a glitch.

She said that the car being at the port status was a glitch. God, It seems like every update with this boat has been a glitch since it departed Bremerhaven. It's been a rollercoaster of a trip with Fidelio.

I have been completely numb to glitches due to the recall glitch experience that went on from mid Feb to mid March

My Sales manager said its odd it flipped in the app and not on their end. BMW Genius shows the same as the dealer. How random could it be when a whole bunch of us flip to at the port (NJ) after the boat docks for 2 days. They had to unload cars and scan them in order for our app to change.

Clearly, we collectively know more than the dealerships and Genius through all of our research and due diligence throughout the process. Let's give ourselves a pat on the back!

Some of us should be flipping back to in transit in the next day or so. Would be odd if Genius/dealers still aren't updated. With this said, as I noted in an earlier post, my sales guy said that there is a chance that their system never gets updated and my vehicle just shows up one day.

Spoke to my CA today and he mentioned my car in-transit to VPC but mybmw website still shows "at port".

I seem to be on Horizon Highway 53A... anyone on the same boat, literally?

We may be able to test this theory out by continuing to update one another. If my SA calls me before it arrives at dealer, I will send a post. Hopefully, everyone else reciprocates.

At this juncture, I dont see a reason to contact the dealer before it arrives. What’s the point? Most of us have been ahead of the dealer since receiving the production #.

Silver Ray landed in NY just after us (either late 4/25 or early 4/26). At least one person has posted on the Silver Ray thread that they were told a dealer arrival date of 4/30. In theory, we should all be close.

WW still has Fidelio going to NY after GA (then onto Panama). It will get to GA tomorrow. I will keep track of Fidelio just out of curiosity. Would love to learn why the zigzag.

I think WW schedule is wrong, like how Fidelio disappeared from the listed ships when searching by ports a short time before it left Bremerhaven even though it was still there if you searched by the voyage number. So I would say its following what it was originally going to do and its not coming back to NY. For once I think MyGarage is accurate over everyone else.

I agree that not going back to NY is certainly more likely. I'm just curious.

Hey Fidelio peeps. Just got a text from my SA. He stated the ship couldn't fully dock in Bayonne due to it being overweight. It will go to Georgia, unload and bit, then come back to Bayonne. This lines up with what the genius's said as to it coming back on may 1.

Flip a coin. If the vessel was overweight, how would it be able to unload a few vehicles in NY and not the rest? Yet, why do some of us show at the port?

Its hard to make this stuff up:
Vehicles goes into at port status in Germany but did it?
RAM recall. Later produced vehicles get latest RAM and shipped instead of the ones already assembled and “at the port”
Goes into in transit because recall order is opened
Goes into at port because RAm order is closed out
Goes into in transit because its going to the port which thought already happened
Arrives at port in Germany. Sits there for a few weeks. There’s now a war. Theory is vessels are understaffed as Ukranians who worked on ships went back to Ukraine
Goes into transit because leaves Germany
Goes into at port as it may have arrived in NY. Hold on, the ship is overweight so its going to another port then will return back

My sales manager said he heard the same about the port ... I still don't buy it that they docked there for 2 days and did not unload any cars that are supposed to be there anyway. If none of the cars flipped to at the port from in transit, I may believe it. There had to be a scan for the cars to flip - that is how this works at every step along the way to update the app.
