Seemingly just about all boats are delayed. Fidelio is now in the open Atlantic and we don't know exactly where it is unless you pay to see its satellite tracked position. I'm guessing it will be picked up as it approaches Cape Cod.

Satellite AIS is $298 a year through them. Maybe that's an estimated track on the free account?

It describes it weird that it costs something but it doesn't, just sign up with free account and open the FleetMon explorer map in the browser. you'll get all the satellite updates.

mtulls what's the current heading of the ship? If it looks like it's heading more SW vs WSW then us NY guys may have to endure a few extra excruciating days staring at empty driveways and garages.

Awful. I just emailed by sales guy to confirm. Shipping industry must be all messed up if this boat is going to GA before NY when it needs to go to Panama after that.

Agree with this. However, just about every source says that Fidelio is not getting to NY until 4/30 (including track & trace on WW). I'm still in denial though.

Interesting. At the current heading and speed, she'd be in the area late Saturday. Maybe we'll get lucky and won't see a southward swing.

Pretty annoying, and doesn't make a ton of sense unless there is some hold up at the port. Only hope is that before we left Germany this boat basically disappeared from the WW site but we still got on it, hopefully it's another glitch. Will keep a close eye on it, it might head closer to coast and then head south.

Also WW website for me shows the dates all mixed up. 4/27 arrival and departure for GA and still 4/24 arrival for NY but departure of 4/30. Not sure what to make of that.

So Fidelio has not turned southward since yesterday. In fact, it's tracking slightly more north. Can we get hopeful it's going to NY first or would that be jinxing things?
