I have Tanzanite on my 40i (and I'm in the UK, where today--yes--it has been overcast with showers). I too was worried before purchase about the potential dullness of TBII, but to be honest it looks sleek and stealthy out of the sun and never monochromatic. I had Mineral Grey on my previous G20 and while the colour flattered the contours of the new 3, it was also conspicuously commonplace (once you start to notice how many delivery vans and boring Audis share the same hue!). TBII, by contrast, is understated and distinctive, with great reflective properties and popping potential, as other folks on here attest. I'd spec it again, without hesitation, despite it being a real object of devotion to keep regularly clean!

I did the full silver stone….I preferred back in may, June production, and all these colors like blue, red interior colors weren't available…at least through the configuration page…but that said, looking at the options today, I think I would have gone silver stone anyways; love it and the 825 wheels

Thanks Dan, I went with the black wheels. I felt like going with TBII on KO, blue brake calipers and bi color wheels would have been too much. I went with black wheels and although they hide details, I am super happy.

I picked up the car yesterday after being skeptical of color prior to seeing it in person. I did get tartuffo interior which looks stunning. After seeing the car and color in person… Wow, the light/shade captures so many different shades of blue it's truly only something you can appreciate in person. Love the car thus far and actually got rid of m5c early to get it … I did get the x-drive and let me tell you it hooks up. I might get a lot of bs from others that have the m5c but, I might actually like it more. Much more nimble, responsive and, connected than the m5. Time will tell…..
