CR-S V2 Nankang

I'm planning to run 295/30/19 CRS - V2 Square set up for HPDE and TT.
Any Hints on cold PSI and target PSI and Temp.

Looking forward to your feedback. How wide are your wheels? I’m currently running 285/35/19 RE71RS on a 10.5 and for my next set I’m thinking 275/35/19 CRS, 295/30/19 CRS or 285/35/19 G3R (Unobtainium!!!

Great setup! Does the tires bulge at all or are they flush? Since their stated tread width is like 11 something inch I just wonder how wide they actually are.

on 10.5" wheel it looks a bit of bulge (very tiny bulge at least to my eyes) . Since it's 26" tall it's time to lower the car

First track day on this setup complete. 295 in front probably the best front end grip to have.(atleast to me ) CRS-V2 slip angle compared to GYSC3R is little less (I could see this in GRM tire review as well) so rear fighting for grip in sweeper turns. Also, one more thing I saw is grippy tire with stiff suspension issue. (may be). Planning to try Sport settings for suspension next time. Very flat track so used sport+. Tire is fast for sure.

I have run these tires for 3 track days. 37 psi hot felt pretty stable. YMMV

Curious on how these perform as now in stock sizes. Debating them or cups or AD009s

My only experience is with cup2s. They’re sticky but tend to drop off relatively fast after both pressure and temperature build. The fronts will go over 40psi on hot days after 10 minutes. You can build 10+lbs of pressure and it’s prudent to pit and let some air out.

One major caveat I’ll issue is that each situation is highly variable. How hard your running your car, track temps, starting pressure, and the track you’re running on will all change what I said above. These cars are heavy (dead horse) and the fronts are what you’ll need to keep a close eye on.

Daily 200 TW is not a good idea in a prefect world. Nankang doesn’t do well in wet. Definitely can handle short distance daily commute when weather is right. I drove to and from track and worked ok. Due to softer compound prone to road hazard.

Great track tires but I wouldn't recommend them for a daily tire. They would be dangerous in the rain and you probably wouldn't even get 10,000 miles out of them.

As a side note- I got 7 track days out of them before I started to show cords on one tire. Two of those days were at COTA. COTA eats your tires for breakfast and brake pads for lunch

That sounds very high to me, on lighter cars I’ve found the CRS’s to drop off much over 34psi or so.
