BMS told me to deactivate everthing under WMI.
For the E-mix verification, I use the FuelIt app.
My car runs well and has no issues whatsoever.

I enable bit 0 and has been running good for 2 months. However there is a slight difference between the E content on fuelit app and jb4. I always use what fuelt it says.

For the BMW G-series JB4 platform connect the white wire to position #4 on the JB4 25 pin harness. Select WMI page option 2/3/4 input to enable.
this is what they said on their official website

So I'm confused, because everyone has different settings!

can anyone help me explain the purpose of each option?

I suggest you reach out to BMS for the correct settings.

I agree with this. Then you can ask them about doing a custom Map 6 for you. I have yet to do this.

Thank you so much guys!

I got a response from Terry

Wire goes in spot4, and WMI option0 on, nothing else changed on WMI page.

Best,
Terry

Can anyone talk to the tuning process? Do tuners like F80 Paul just start with a standard tune or is there more of a discussion?

Most custom tuners have base maps utilizing their own settings, and from there they read the logs and adjust fueling, ignition timing, boost, boost control, and anything else that needs adjustments via there software

Fueling will need to be different for add ons such as pi / meth.

+1

You will get a base map that is more aggressive than off-the-shelf maps. After looking at your logs they will keep fine-tuning it until you reach your goal or they reach their safety limit.

Ok so one more question... is it highly recommended to do this on a dyno or is street tuning fine? I was debating if its worth it to spend the extra cash and take it to a local shop or not.

I finally was able get an e85 reading in my JB4… but reads 4% lower than the Fuel-It App (Fuel-It reads 9% while JB4 reads 5%). Is everybody having the same issue?

Logging pulls on the street is actually best from a load perspective compared to a standard dynojet. In previous cars I’ve owned they’ve always run a bit leaner on the street versus the dyno and sometimes would need a little less timing as well.
