CELs in all catless DP for G80s?
Will CEL appear in G80s like they did with my G26 M440i or is this not a problem? And in case of CEL appearing, how to remove w/o tune? (Cant afford the Femto unlock hassle)

Shoutout to "Unlockable Character" on youtube for this video right here (timestamp discussing catless down pipes included, 16:11 minute marker)
It appears he uses an O2 spacer on the oxygen bungs to trick the DME into believing the car is emissions compliant without displaying a CEL. Without unlocking your DME via Femto it's likely there's no way to permanently disable the oxygen CEL. This appears to be the link to the product he's discussing, I think: http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html I've heard of people using O2 bung extenders before with mixed results on a slew of different vehicles. Sometimes it clears the CEL for only 2,000mi, sometimes it doesn't work at all, sometimes it keeps the code away permanently. Your mileage may vary. |

A 200 cell will flow much better than stock or the Gesi and will be the closest you can get to a full catless setup. Someone was testing our 200 cell without a spacer I believe he had 3 weeks on it with no cel.

I got the slow lean/rich response CELs w a spacer and the BDG minicats, never saw cat efficiency CELs in any setup. For catless it seems like BDG minicats are your best chance of avoiding a CEL, some people say it pops up now and again. Unless you're going big turbo or enjoy the smell of fuel, 200 cell is a great choice over catless. |

On newer vehicles they're just testing the ODBII port everywhere I'm aware of. As long as you don't have any 'not ready' codes or a CEL, you're a pass. 'not ready' happens after you reset the ECU and you haven't driven enough miles to have everything in a ready/calibrated state, can't use that method to avoid the CEL and pass lol.

Do you have a link to those products? I have heard about LEIB. The install looks very tedious.
