As I'm waiting on an allocation, I contacted my dealer and they stated they received 1 allocation for a base M3. I am waiting on a comp. They advised they're seeing if they can trade with another dealer but haven't been able to yet.

Surely there has to be a dealer out there that wants an allocation for a manual, no? Anyone on here have contact info at their dealer that where they're waiting on a manual allocation but their dealer instead has a comp allocation? If so, please PM me so I can pass it along and we could potentially both win!

Dude, those base allocations are as scarce as hens teeth. If you want the manual I would jump on it, or failing that your dealer will have people banging down the door to swap it for a comp allocation. I believe there are comp allocations available due to be hitting production soonish, so I would try and make sure you are gaining production weeks with the swap

I don't want the manual. That's the whole point of my post. I know people are dying for a base and my dealer is willing to swap for me but they haven't had any luck getting a comp for their base, which seems crazy to me.

I was hopeful someone here is waiting on a base allocation and their dealer has a comp allocation and we could set up a switch.
