sold puts on FL, WYNN, HA, SOFI, and PTON

bought speculative calls on SOFI, $25 strike Jan 2022

opened debit call spread on PTON, $130/$140 for Sept 2021

Watching my DKNG call languish
sold my MSFT calls too early. kinda broke even but i think i could have made a little money if i had held 2-3 more days
let's go

I thought I was setting up for the next quarter report, but this is cool too.
what happened with NKE? nice gain

cash didn't hit my Tastyworks account yet
only have $1000 available
I wrote credit call spreads on Nike on the day it rocketed, and although I made the full premium by end of day Friday, I realized I didn't close the fuckin position and it nearly pinned me between the 2 strikes.

Safe to say I didn't sleep well that night due to the risk of a possible exercise lol.

All good tho thankfully

deposited $30k into cash account and started using it in January of this year
deposited $15k into margin account, started using it this week

should have started using the margin account earlier
but then again, maybe it saved me from blowing up the account because i would have gotten in over my head with options

total account value is about $10k less than at peak but i'm not worried since i'm still up over 21% YTD in the account
feel pretty good about all of my positions in this portfolio
let's get it

Thanks for the info. Good dividend.
Is ET better bet than Chevron or Exxon?
Chevron and Exxon also distribute good dividend and less risk.

Thanks for the stock tips.
It is interesting that CIM survived 2007-2008 housing collapsed.

I probably have too much $$ in chips, but it is split between MU & AVGO presently, so I'm sort of protected.

I also own both, by owning a semiconductor ETF: SOXX.
Any corporation may make mistake, and their stock may tank. GE and IBM are the example.
I prefer etf.

An ETF gives you the good with the bad, rewarding all companies equally.
I would prefer to own only the good stocks, if I can figure which they are!

This is the way.

And it is how I operate in my RH account, I own 50-100 stocks at a time in different segments of the market. Repositioning as the climate changes. Do I always beat the indexes? No. But I am fairly safe from a single stock tanking and I have higher beta (chance for upside) than just broad indexes. Also I buy small positions in etfs like SPY, DIA, QQQ, as they allow me to benefit from whole market advances and let me watch the gains (I keep an eye on the 'total % change' stat over ownership).

You should translate your strategy to playing the roulette - you'd bankrupt all the casinos!
