Another new M4 6MT in the house

As much as I loved my Dravit Gray 2024 M4 I really wanted the manual even though I talked myself out of it at that time.

Today I picked up my new IOMG/ Kyalami Orange ‘24 M4. I have not had a manual since I returned my 2016 Challanger Hellcat back in ‘19.

First impressions from my 50 miles drive home was WOW! I love the feel of this shifter. Clutch engagement is a bit high but got used to it within 10 miles. Attached are just a few picks at delivery. PPF, Tint, and the SST controller install all being scheduled.

There is nothing like the enjoyment of a manual transmission. You can convince yourself out of it but you will regret it. Welcome back!

Good decision to trade in the automatic transmission for a manual stick, it's much more engaging with the sense of control. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks. Picked one of the BMS stops up. Did you use all 3 washers or just 2 if you have one of course.

I have the standard sport seats. No way I can get in and out of the CF buckets 😉

One or two, not three. I've had two of them. I used three the first time and it wasn't a good thing. I destroyed it removing it and bought a new one eventually. Even with just one it makes a difference compared to the very, very wee OEM clutch stop.

Thanks! Since they were 12 bucks and I read someone else had to buy a second one I just purchased 2 right off the bat!

I read that for our cars you need to cut the tip off and a few of the “branches”.

Oh, yep. That, too. It doesn't need to be very long at all. Once you pop the OEM one out, you'll see why...and laugh at it a bit.

When you install it, push it up at an angle and it'll seat easier.
