Hello all,

My Dravit has a status of 'Scheduled for production in 2024', and I'm still uncertain about it. Sometimes I find myself falling in love with it, while at other times, the goldish color brings tears to my eyes. Also, it's annoying me to witness how Dravit is gaining popularity on other models.

Do you have any regrets about having the Dravit?

No.

Gave color a color a lot of thought before i actually got the car, going back and forth regarding my choice. Now I focus on enjoying driving it, instead of details like color etc 😇🤓

I wasn't in love with the gold flake. I don't hate it, but it just isn't my jamm. So I wound up with Grigio Telesto Pearl. It is essentially the same color as Dravit, with Mica (silver/blue) flake instead of the gold flake.

Don't regret my decision at all.... going on two years now and when I wash it and come out in the garage, I smile.

No, I don’t regret it. The only time I see the gold is in direct sunlight when I look closer. When it’s not super sunny is just looks like dark grey. The cool part is sometimes it looks light and sometimes dark. I love it!

No regrets at all! I wasn’t sure of the gold in the beginning but love it now. You only really see it in super bright sun. The color has so many different shades. I love it.

If you don’t love the gold; check out grey black- its dravit without the gold. Grigio Telesto was a good color too- but I didn’t want the delay back when my car was built.
I get so many compliments on this color.

Check out the dravit forum on here. May help you.

Zero regrets, I love it even more after living with it. Such a unique and dynamic color.

I've also gotten nothing but compliments from everyone who's seen it, including non-car people.

Am very happy with the Dravit Gray paint on the car.

The only thing that could make me more happy is if the base coat was silver instead of gold.

Dravit is not as loud as some of the other colors, it's definitely harder to distinguish it at first glance. I think it will age elegantly though. I like that. The grey F80/82s (in my opinion) look really tasteful years later and some of the louder colors make an older model seem more dated. Just personal opinion. Having a louder color was one of the worst experiences as a Toronto driver - I wouldn't want to deal with it in the long run. Every boy racer sees it as a reason to try to race you or pull up right on your tail when you're cruising. If you're going aiming to keep the car for a few years, you could go vibrant with this model for the flash factor, but if you want it as more of a long term driver, I'd personally go subtle like Dravit.

No regrets at all because the darn thing changes colors so often you don’t have a chance to dislike it! Coolest color on the road.

Love Dravit. But I like non-metallic paint and no way I would pay nearly 2k for Dravit. I would much rather pay 4.5k for Grey Black for both preference and exclusivity reasons.

Asking someone if he regrets getting a certain colour is like asking one if he regrets marrying his wife. You will get a very subjective answer.

Yes. In the sun, both brighten up, but in very different ways. In the shade, they look exactly the same.

As a third option, Individual Grey Black is very close to Dravit/Grigio Telesto without any flake. It looks dramatically darker in the sun because of the lack of metallic flake, but very similar in the shade.

No regret after 1 year ownership.
But be aware of Dravite is a dust megnet comparing to other light color, need to be washed regularly to make gold flakes shine under the sun.
It is a beatiful color and I think you will enjoy as much as we all did. Congrats on your car and I think you made the right decision about the color.

No regrets at all. I love how it looks greenish in some lights. Matched to tartufo interior it’s a very classy combo IMHO.

My first G80 M3 (6MT) was Dravit. After I purchased it I was worried about how it would look. I thought it generally took on more of the dull grey color rather than greenish/bronzish hue that you get with lots of sunlight. I would not say I didn't like Dravit, but the proliferation of it on many other series cars didn't sit well with me. Ultimately, liked the color, but not sure it's worth 2K and I don't think I'd do it again.
Now I have a G80 M3 xdrive in Frozen Dark Grey and think it fits the car much better. It shows the lines of the car in a way I don't think many others are able to do.

Only reason I regretted Dravit was because I gave up an Individual color order for it (which I then rectified lol)

If I didn't have that though, Dravit would have been my pick. It's a fantastic color.

Nope. When I had my M340ix I use to get lots of compliments about the color.

I’d say the most unique color bmw offers.

Dravit will go down as a legendary color in the gray scale. You don’t see this much character or color change in many paints. Light gray, dark gray, gold, olive, metallic, flat…it’s got a LOT going on. It’s super unique, IMO.
