Carbon buckets look great in any color.

Wow, gorgeous, but I'd be terrified of staining them with dark jeans!

This is beautiful, But i am devastated about the dye transfer I cant get out of my kyalami orange, and this would be much much worse.

Does ceramic treatment help discourage color transfer, like with jeans?

Looks grrrrrrreat!

I like the ivory leather and bucket seats also. But! This central CF part between the legs is deal breaker.

Beautiful. I still prefer the cooler tone that the Silverstone leather has. But I really wish there was a way to not have the two tone that the standard interiors force you to have.

Would love to see a Silverstone carbon bucket (without two tone) compared to these ivory buckets.

How do you keep these clean? I have a friend with a S580 and her white seats are stained. It didn't take long either. She now uses a blanket every time she gets in the thing.

Maybe it's because I don't wear jeans often

But I don't do anything special... get it detailed twice a year (once in spring and once in fall).. monthly hand washes... I haven't had any issues with color transfer . I'm not sure if BMWs merino leather is less susceptible to color transfer or if it has anything to do with the seats being perforated.

Do you do anything to the seats when you clean the car? Just wipe them down? I don't know, after seeing her seats, i'm paranoid.

Nothing special I think.. just use a basic leather cleaner (gold class) from time to time. I'll snap some current pics tomorrow.

I Put a ceramic coating on my seats and nope it doesn't. I need to use a solvent cleaner and likely touch up and re clear coat dye transfer from a tommy hilfiger jacket.....

Merino is much softer and yes its hard to clean. What leather you had on your car? Nappa or Dakota?

I had silverstone leather in my F80 as well, never had a problem. They looked good after 3 years of daily driving.

Loved those seats, but ivory carbon buckets are amazing.

My favorite interior ever. I'm not keen enough to get it though, I'd hate to get that dirty.
