I personally think the 3D design piece has a much better flow in character lines from the front bumper and into the bottom lip piece.
It ain't cheap but it sure looks pretty!

I saw that. It's like the retail cost of an OEM lip. I can get an OEM lip cheaper. Wheew. I saw it on my phone, I'm getting the lappy out, today to check it out in full screen.

Yup, it's a lot of $$ for a lip, but 3D design is known for their quality.
I love how the line flows through and the fact that the corners don't abruptly stick out like the MP lip.
This is more OEM looking than the MP IMO.

3D Design has excellent quality and fitment. Had their CF front lip on my X3 M40i and it was gorgeous.

I just got the VRS style one from xxiituning as they have them on sale for about £700. Just arrived yesterday, quality is really good but haven't tried the fitment yet

does the front bumper need to come off to install the bumper inlet, replacing the honeycomb? Or do the honeycombs pop out, and the new CF inlets pop in?

I contacted the vendor that the OP uses. The prices are really good but shipping kills it. Its hundreds of dollars to ship just one item to CA, which basically negates the price savings.

shipping was pricey but if u get multiple items it may be worth it, if it's just a front lip i'd probably pass. i was able to get rear diffuser mirror caps and ducts for 1500 including shipping

You might be right. I just don't want to drop all at once I guess. Quote for me shipped was $2100 (MP splitter, MP diffusor, carbon vents, CSL grill).

The knock off splitter OP mentioned is a bit short for my linking. I have dravit grey so I feel like the mentioned splitter won't have a big of a difference as I like. I would like something that extends out a bit more.

I like the MHC SP1 splitter with how much it sticks out. Does anyone know of any similar knock offs cheaper price? Carbon or gloss black, doesn't matter.

i got my cf spoiler from ebay. there are some slight imperfections in the clear coat but nothing major

What about the fitment? Im not worried about slight imperfections in a CF front lip. Its going to get damaged, no way around it. Id rather have a cheap knockoff get bashed vs a $1500 get smashed.

my spoiler from ebay fit good and all my parts from the vendor mentioned in this thread fit pretty good i'd say 99% fitment
