You certainly have been there since my early complaints about not getting the choice of yas marina blue on this generation. Let me know when you get it and we'll make it happen.

In the end I went with PB, but Interlagos is still in the back of my mind. Maybe next round.

Congrats on the new car! Nice to see you're keeping the CS: it's gorgeous.
The mods must have deleted some comments, but people on the road certainly appreciate it even if there is a lot of negativity towards this generation on the forums (mostly from people that don't own/haven't driven one).

In a strange way, since it is the only four-door manual transmission that checks every box I would ever want in a car, I'm glad that I appreciated and loved the new design from the outset. Also, please don't mention Cadillacs to me.

Wait, so you have a 3 year old son but a girlfriend of 9 months; for some reason that math doesn't compute to me j/k

Love the car, it gives me a throwback memory to the limited edition Lime Rock E92 M3. Good stuff

Also, I spent five years in the F80 chassis over 2 cars with a combined 110k miles. Rare/amazing as the CS may be, I'm bored.
I found myself bored as well having been in F-series cars over a 7.5 year period from 2013-2021 (…335i > M4 > M4). I was bored of the E9X's and E46's too.

First, the FO looks fantastic on this. Well done. Second, why did BMW have a hard time with the approval? That kind of surprised me since there were no issues with the E9X and F8X. Is that individual process a pain in the ass?

Early in the lifecycle of a new model they really don't want to do individual colors. It makes sense from a production efficiency standpoint.

And yet they've done a ton of marketing with the cars in individual colors this generation.

Yeah, this is the most viral Individual marketing I've ever witnessed from BMW. It was not like this with prior generation M3's. I mean, the color palette at Riverside BMW, for example, is a sample of every color Skittle ever produced. At one point they had 8 Individual G8X's on their showroom floor (…all sold of course). The Individual coordinator at that dealership is on top of his shit.

Love the colour and glad to hear you went manual! Mostly chiming in to say cheers to the labrum surgery…I had one in December 2019 and December 2020 (had to do both shoulders) so I totally feel your pain (physically and mentally not being able to drive). All the best with the recovery!

Not being able to lift is even worse than not being able to drive for me lol. I had my left shoulder done back in January but it was just a cleanup.

Thanks brother.

Thanks man, I did my best. I'm probably (slightly) better at driving that I am at describing the driving experience.
