One of my buddys bought lowering springs for his g82 m4 xdrive but decided that he doesn’t want to lower it, and one of my other friends with a g80 m3 xdrive said he would buy the springs.

My question is if both cars are xdrive, do they have the same suspension setup and will springs bought for g82 m4 fit on the g80 m3?

It depends on the brand and type, for example KW and MP HAS kits are marketed as fitting both models (G80/82) because they are adjustable I suspect

However Eibach, H&R and AST springs are marketed as only fitting one or the other, as they are fixed springs
