So i was wondering what is the best piggy back chip? I'm not looking to go crazy all i have at the moment is a valvetronic mid pipe. I have the manual i feel it could use a bit more power. Just looking for low to mid 500whp this is going to be my daily for a little while. I just feel like for the power i want sending my ecu to fetmo is a bit overkill. I'm new to bmw's in general. My other cars are a built evo 8 mr and ls3 swapped fd rx7.

I can just tell this platform just wants to make power and it feels like a crime leaving it stock . Any advice would be great.

The best depends on your needs.

The one with the most features is the JB4

If you run a simple build and regular fueling (91 or 93), you will run +3 to +4 PSI. Any tuner can do that with ease.

You will lose features like data logging, boost by gear, boost by RPM,etc.. these are JB4-only features.

but you can make the same power with a tuner as simple as the turbo transformer
